WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Learn to draw adorable and charming botanicals! This mellow, beginner-level workshop will take you on a tour of illustration basics in one three-hour session.
You'll learn the basics of drawing simple floral forms to compose your own patterns and terrarium drawings. You'll start by learning to draw the basic structure of various plants, then learn to add on the center, petals, and leaves to create your own original, beautiful botanical illustrations.
You'll also learn everything you need to know about supplies, including the best pens and paper to choose for top-notch results.

This is a class for everyone! No drawing experience is needed, but even avid artists can enjoy learning some new techniques. Your instructor, Brooklyn-based artist Bethany Robertson, will guide you and help you find your own creative path in this fun weekend workshop.

Meet Your Instructor
Bethany Robertson is a Brooklyn-based illustrator, hand-lettering artist, and educator. She is passionate about art and teaching, and has taught all ages from kids to adults.
