WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Learn to crochet a top! If you're a confident beginner who has mastered crochet basics and are looking to tackle larger projects, this virtual workshop is for you!
In this three-part workshop, we'll work through the Wool & the Gang Calvin Tank. You will learn:
- Yarn & hook information
- How to begin your crochet project
- A review of the chain stitch and foundation chain
- The double crochet stitch
- Chain spaces, slip stitch, and whip stitch
- How to create a open mesh panel
This is three-part virtual workshop taking place on the following dates:
Tuesday 7/20 at 6:30-8:30pm
Tuesday 7/27 at 6:30-7:30pm
Tuesday 8/3 at 6:30-8:30pm
**There will be stitching homework between each session!**
Materials and Tools Required:

- 3-5 balls of Billie Jean Yarn depending on size (see charts in photos above).
- Size 1: 3 balls
- Size 2-3: 4 balls
- Size 4-6: 5 balls
- Tape measure to determine your size
- Scissors
SKILL REQUIREMENTS: You must have basic crochet skills to attend this workshop. If you are a total newbie or need a refresher, consider attending one of our Crochet 101 workshops first- register here.
